Spice Isle Imaging Center is Grenada’s first and only medical imaging & scanning service center. We have been in operation since July 2004. Since we began, we have helped many of our physicians in making accurate, life-saving diagnosis.

The concept of providing such a service to Grenada, Carriacou and Petite Martinique came about when the founder, Dominic Paul, visited a friend in hospital while the friend was waiting to travel to have a CT Scan performed. Dominic realised the need in Grenada for medical imaging services and the idea for Spice Isle Imaging was born.

Our spiral scanner allows us to do a wide range of scans which include Brain, Temporal Bones, Sinuses, Facial Bones, Neck, Chest, Abdomen/Pelvis, and Pulmonary Embolism just to mention a few.

We have a team of highly trained specialists who provide treatment in various fields for those in need.  Our facility is equipped with an advanced tele-radiology system which allows our radiologist in India and other specialists to instantly review and analyse scans and issue reports.

Previously located in Petite Esperance, St. David’s on the grounds of the R.C. Church, we are now located on The Carenage, in St. Georges. This relocation was necessary to facilitate our service to the General Hospital.

We are open Monday to Friday from 8 A.M. to 5 P.M. and on Saturdays from 9 A.M. to 1 P.M. We do have a 24 hours emergency service.
